Ok, so it's been a busy, busy week of preparations for the new school year, and this here is my go to for building community and establishing routines in September. 

My former and current teaching partners mentioned this book. I'll read it this weekend to decide whether to use it as part of launching our writing workshop, or to use it as a mentor text for grammar and punctuation, or both.
